Captain Pickles Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 So here is my issue I am in Az and my two cousins are in Illinois. I am on PC and we have another PC player and one PS. I have them join on me and I will set the geo filter to only play on the server in OK/ kS so we both split the distance and hopefully get a decent ping I will end up with 35, he will be at 100+ Now if I join on him, he will get 40-60 and I will get no better then 86. Which leads me to believe that the geo filter is doing absolutely nothing and we are just getting servers closest to the party leaders location. How do we fix this??
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 31, 2021 Administrators Posted January 31, 2021 Could you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page please with what you see when you're in game? Are you checking the ping on the Geo-Filter or in game?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 31, 2021 Administrators Posted January 31, 2021 Could be a misclassified server, check Ping Heatmap and see if there are any lower pings in that area or perhaps somewhere else you could force instead.
Captain Pickles Posted January 31, 2021 Author Posted January 31, 2021 It is misclassified, it’s not a person it’s a server and says so on the heat map. No matter where I force, it doesn’t work.

Captain Pickles Posted February 1, 2021 Author Posted February 1, 2021 I’m not sure what else to add but I did notice that the PC shows as offline on the device manager. I’ve rebooted the computer and router twice and it still won’t show as online device
Netduma Liam Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 It might help to change the PCs device type to Playstation. You can do this by going to device manager and clicking on your PC.
