BL4CK OPS V3TRN Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Hi All, Hopefully somebody can help with this issue , I have a 2 month old smart TV 4K LG so its new tec , it is wired to the R2 but the speeds seem to be an issue and I see buffering when on YouTube. However when I pull out the cable and go wireless connected to the R2 the performance is much better . Tonight I noticed something in the network map . See image , port 1 is my TV and port 2 is my xbox . Anybody know why the TV is only 100 and could this be the buffering issue when wired ?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 24, 2021 Administrators Posted January 24, 2021 That could certainly be it, that will be the ethernet cable that is limited to 100Mbits so you'll need to try another cable capable of 1000Mbits and then see if it is any better.

Guest Killhippie Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 My Sony Oled AF8 has a 100Mb Ethernet port as thats all it needs, ironically its Wi-Fi 5 so connects faster over 5Ghz as it supports 80Mhz.
