theaveragejoe Posted January 18, 2021 Posted January 18, 2021 I switched from the XR500 to the R2 yesterday. Once the R2 was on it worked, got into the dashboard and ALL I DID was run a benchmark, used the ping heat map just to see, and changed my wifi info. Once I did that I exited out. From there the problems started. My wife's phone could not connect, the wifi would give out to our firesticks randomly, and worse yet I could not get back into the dashboard it just took me to a netgear problem page. To make matters worse I reset it and plugged it back in and now it provides no internet to anything. I wired in my PC, my PS4, and 2 Laptops. Nothing. I don't even know where to start on the issue, Please help the R2 is allot of money and I have been a supporter of this company for years now. Thanks
Netduma Liam Posted January 18, 2021 Posted January 18, 2021 Sorry to hear you're having trouble! What's your exact physical setup? Could you please clear your browser cache as well just so we know we've got a clean slate!

Netduma Liam Posted January 18, 2021 Posted January 18, 2021 OK interesting, what's your default gateway showing as? You can check this by hitting the windows key, typing cmd, then entering ipconfig in the command prompt.
theaveragejoe Posted January 18, 2021 Author Posted January 18, 2021 that is with my xr500, if I plug my r2 in I wont have wifi which isn't possible at the moment due to work.
