VeeDot
All of a sudden for unknown reason I recently found out when using my duma os page. It suddenly pops up and says sorry lost connection , and brings me to a netgear help page which is no help what so ever. Whenever I try and go back into my duma os. It just keeps bringing up the same netgear help page. And after a few moments it’ll let me log back into my duma os. For it to then rinse and repeat all over again. Highly frustrating, no idea what to do. I had my firmware on auto update. Pretty sure it’s .66. How do I solve this disconnect worm hole

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 14, 2021 Administrators Share Posted January 14, 2021 With something like this a reboot should be sufficient to resolve it, could you reboot and let me know if it continues to happen please?
VeeDot
Yup. Rebooted. I held the factory reset in for 10 seconds and it’s still doing it.

Netduma Liam
Generally you'll need to hold for the reset button for about 30 seconds if you're wanting to do a full factory reset. 2 hours ago, VanillaGillan said: Also gives me an error code of : Missing JSON response on Firefox Where did you see this error? Did you get access to DumaOS back? Are you experiencing the same issues in Chrome or IE?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 15, 2021 Administrators Share Posted January 15, 2021 Upgrade to the latest firmware using the TFTP method here: https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP this will upgrade bypassing the boot process and any issues there, then do a factory reset. That will give you the freshest install possible and hopefully resolve the issues.
