Hey, welcome to the forum!

It will block said device from accessing the internet.

Thanks for welcoming me :)

I need more details. What does it do specifically to block the access, how does it interrupt it?

If you want the specific details of what it does I would need to ask a developer about that - no one has asked that before! I assume that if the device attempts access to anything on the internet it simply has a rule in place that blocks/rejects all traffic from said device.

Yeah if you can do that it would be much, much appreciated. I am mostly interested in technical details around cutting the connection as soon as the block button is pressed.

Of course, I'll request a dev to give me further information on that and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Just an update for you, I received this reply from a dev:

"What we do is using the iptables firewall blocking all traffic going through this device using iptables rules that can block/unblock traffic to any device"

Just what I needed. Thank you Fraser!
