OneOnline
Hello, I think this is a bug. At first I thought my router was defective, but later it turned out that if you select Automatic mode in the channel width, you will have a minimum speed, at 5Ghz I had an impossibly low down/up speed. Make automatic mode choose the maximum width, not the minimum.
Newfie
The max width on 2.4 is 40Mhz and not recommended unless you live in an area with no or hardly any neighbouring channels. most routers will test for coexistence to insure interference is not an issue but on the R2 you need to use a WiFi analyser to check. 5Ghz is 80Mhz which will be fine as the coverage is lower than 2.4Ghz. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 1, 2021 Administrators Share Posted January 1, 2021 Hey, welcome to the forum! Great explanation above! We're also working on improving the WiFi currently so it will be better in future versions.
