Ozymandias_ Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Whenever I run the "autosetup" function for congestion control and prioritize ping, it always recommends using 1% of my overall bandwidth. My download / upload speeds are 900 Mbps / 40 Mbps. Any idea why it says to set it so low?
Netduma Liam Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Auto-setup is being quite aggressive at the moment, we're going to adjust this in an upcoming update. For the time being I'd suggest setting your sliders to around 70% and seeing how that works for you. This is one of those things that differs person-to-person so you need to have a little play with it and find out what works for you!
Ozymandias_ Posted December 21, 2020 Author Posted December 21, 2020 Thank you! The funny thing is... I decided to try at as everyone else was asleep so I didn't need a lot of bandwidth in the house and it seemed to work pretty good. It got my in game wz ping between 30-50 which is great. 30's never happen for me, 40's is less rare than 30 but still not frequent and I would take 50 all day.

Reduce the sliders 5% at a time and see where you get the best Connection Benchmark results. Play a game at these settings and see how it feels.
