Jettman Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 hey guys i was just wondering what the best ethernet cable is to buy and i would love for someone to recommend and modem thats just on its own because i dont want to use a router/modem then into my xr500. i am currently in australia and i would love a few people opinions, cheers

I also just picked up an Arris SB8200 modem and so far I am happy with it definately better than my old SB6190 modem.
zman1156 Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 Cannot speak on a modem recommendation. However CAT 8 cables are the way to go for future proofing your network these are the highest cables you can get right now as far as speed and frequency.
