Kevin.pal Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 Is it better to have ping assist when I play cod mostly modern warfare and warzone. trying to figure the best server for me since I have a low ping already. I’m located Vancouver bc and California is the best around 34ms server for me but Seattle is like 65ms. i figure ping assist would be better but I didn’t know what works best?

Ping Assist will allow you to potentially find games with a low ping that you wouldn't have necessarily tried before - especially if they were mislocated. Give it a try and you can always go back to the radius.
Kevin.pal Posted December 7, 2020 Author Posted December 7, 2020 I’m trying ping assist 50ms and it won’t let me join any servers other then Seattle? Seattle is a lot worse off ping heat! ranges 11ms to 60+ In the states
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 7, 2020 Administrators Posted December 7, 2020 Change your ping assist value to much lower than that and try again. Once it gets a server that is under the limit it will try to connect to it so it's probably seeing that one first every time.

This would ensure that low-ping servers outside of your radius are also considered. Of course, if you find any mislocated servers in this process, feel free to report them at the below link, and we'll work on finding their true location:
