XR1000 IPv6 with network traffic, QOS

Recommended Posts

I noticed that with ipv6 enabled, while downloading stuff from Microsoft store on my pc(which I assume is using ipv6) is not showing up on the network traffic page.  I disabled ipv6 and then it works properly, showing all the bandwidth being used.  Does qos work with ipv6?   Also with ipv6 enabled I found the interface constantly freezing and I would have to wait about 10 min before it would load up again.

I have the latest firmware and a factory reset was done after the update

Okay that is interesting, I won't be able to confirm this myself but could you try the firmware I have just sent you via PM first, do a factory reset and then if it continues I'll make a ticket for it. The update should definitely help with the interface. As far as I am aware QoS should be working with IPv6, are you not seeing that?

I am not sure if QOS is working or not with ipv6 it was more of a question because of the network page not working , I noticed that any traffic using ipv6 wasn't showing on the network monitor page, I will install the firmware you sent

Thank you very much for the information, has the phone got a device type of a console by any chance?

the xbox is set to xbox and the iphone is set to phone,  i have no idea why its showing 2 different ipv4 addresses on it, ill try and reboot it when no one is using the internet

i power cycled the router and it bricked itself,   my network names defaulted themselves for some reason and i have no internet connection.  I factory reset using the pin hole but it doesn't seem to do anything as i still can't access the UI.   Will have to return or exchange

Okay thanks, has TFTP restored it?

i was able to access the router through hardwire, i guess just the wifi wasn't working, I reapplied the firmware to be on the safe side, ill have to wait til later in the day to hook it back up cause everyone is using the wifi (backup router)

devices seem to be appearing with 2 different IPv4 addresses in device manager again but none seem to overlap with other devices as of right now, i'm so confused

Could you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing please?

I checked the computer and the local IP address is the 192.168.1.18

The other address 192.168.17, i have no idea where it came from (maybe a previous address as stated) but it also will show up on another device and it will result in the wrong device using the bandwidth on the network monitor
