Cold War Server locations.

Hi.

I need some help to figure out why, despite having a polygon surrounding the UK servers on the south coast, my game connects to franc, Italy or other European servers. Will there be a cold war heat map or setting to assign, the same as Modern Warfare?

We're testing the game at the moment for the Geo-Filter so we may need to put out an update. Assuming that isn't the case, did you apply the Geo-Filter settings/Filtering Mode when already on the game/console? If so hard turn off the game/console, apply the settings/filtering mode, wait 1-2 minutes then try.

We've just updated Ping Heatmap so you can see/ping the servers.

I have rebooted the router to get the heat map update. But I only ever join peers. And I am unable to join the UK dedicated servers.

They will be misclassified as peers but are actually servers as it is a server based game - we'll do a cloud update for it next week.

Sory for the stupid question, will I need to update the firmware manually or how does this cloud update work, what will I have to do?

Not a stupid question at all! Cloud updates will happen automatically, so once we have pushed an update your router will automatically download it within 24 hours and that's it. You can flush the cloud in the Geo-Filter/Ping Heatmap options and then the router will download the latest immediately.
