I have been looking around in the R2's settings and i've noticed that the MTU hasn't been set whereas in my XR300 it was set to something like 1500 [I think]. Do i turn this setting on and set it to 1490 or see what my ISP's modem has it set to. Also ... Do i play around with the DHCP / Static / PPPoE or again just leave it. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 11, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 11, 2020 Definitely don't mess around with DHCP/Static/PPPoE - there are no game improvements to be made there and you would most likely just make it so you have no internet. MTU really doesn't do anything for gaming, it is more of a placebo. I would recommend leaving it as is but if you want to experiment with it then you'll need to look up how to find the MTU for your connection that doesn't cause fragmentation.
