[email protected]
I can never get an open NAT Type with the R2 like I do with the ASUS X1100. I've tried open ports and even the DMZ. Please assist.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 13, 2020 Administrators Share Posted October 13, 2020 Where are you checking the NAT Status, on the game or the console network settings? What platform are you using? What is your exact physical setup?
[email protected]
I'm checking the NAT Status on the game and it's always moderate with the R2. I have Fios Verizon and I only have this problem with the R2. My Asus AX11000 and my XR500 works fine with a in game OPEN NAT.

Thank you Rusty PS4 NAT Type 2 is open, it just means you are connected behind a router as opposed to a modem. If the console didn't have an open NAT then the game wouldn't either.
