Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 9, 2020 Administrators Share Posted October 9, 2020 Well firstly it really depends if they did an IP ban or a console ban. If it is a console ban then there isn't much you can do other than try to appeal it. I have Virgin as well and you should be able to reboot the V hub or unplug it for 10 minutes or so and then that should prompt Virgin to assign a new IP address. Newfie
Has your son still got access to his account if it’s console?
Guest Killhippie
If its a life time ban then that's it a generally. A new IP will be registered to an account I assume and they will juts ban it again generally. Fortnite banned a fairly big YouTube for showing aim assist and that's it game over as it should be for cheating. I don't know how your 'son' got banned but it must have been pretty serious to get banned in the first place. If a VPN does not work it sounds like its more than a IP ban possibly. Most games know that people tend to have static IP's so the ban goes deeper sometimes with consoles into the hardware itself and you can say on PS4 and loose your account for good.
