Takenmysoul Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 Today I was changing the router and modem to another room, when I change everything and connect everything, the router stop working, the isp modem is working fine, in the dashboard it says connected to Wan, but no internet via cable or Wifi, I did a factory reset but still now works, please someone help me.
Warrior Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 unplug the modem for like 30 seconds plug back in connect r2 hardwired to pc see if that works
Warrior Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 Unplug both of them for like 10minutes modem and r2 then after 10minutes plug in the modem first and then r2
Takenmysoul Posted October 8, 2020 Author Posted October 8, 2020 Done too, I did everything I can find this forum before create a new post, and that is included
Warrior Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 How did you factory reset it by holding the button down?
Takenmysoul Posted October 8, 2020 Author Posted October 8, 2020 Both ways, with the button and using the software And now is working like 2 minutes and then stop working again, the modem is fine, cause I connect the modem directly to the pc and works fine, it's the router
Warrior Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 yeah r2 kinda buggy are you able to log in to dumasos desktop?
Takenmysoul Posted October 8, 2020 Author Posted October 8, 2020 Yes, I'm able, if a disconnect the router from the wall and put it back, it works like 2 minutes, and then internet not working again, this very frustrating, why sell a product not finished?
Warrior Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 do this log into dumasos fast then do a factory reset on the top rigth i migth be bugged out clear the ram then activated it again see if that works also check wat is the dhcp set to on the settings
Takenmysoul Posted October 8, 2020 Author Posted October 8, 2020 If a ping to 8.8.8.8 works, but ping to google.com don't work If a run a connection benchmark, don't run I'm, sending some photos 14 hours ago, Topguns said: do this log into dumasos fast then do a factory reset on the top rigth i migth be bugged out clear the ram then activated it again see if that works also check wat is the dhcp set to on the settings I have made this factory reset like 5 times, when I made the reset it works for like 2 minutes, but after that, stop working, without a reason or me touching anything.
Takenmysoul Posted October 8, 2020 Author Posted October 8, 2020 Work 2 minutes, and then die again And for information, I ordered the router last week, tomorrow it gonna be a week since I connected for the first time
Warrior Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 yeah looks like it migth be defective email them or message fraser on twitter @Netduma Admin
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 8, 2020 Administrators Posted October 8, 2020 Were any settings changed after moving them at all? Unplug the router from the power for 10 minutes to let any residual power drain, then connect it up again, if you still don't have internet go to DHCP settings and then click apply.
Takenmysoul Posted October 8, 2020 Author Posted October 8, 2020 Any settings were changed after moving. Did the Unplug and still not works, I think it might something with dumaos, because if a let the router like a bridge works fine, but as soon I start the DumaOs the internet stop working, there is any change to have a PM of the new firmware?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 8, 2020 Administrators Posted October 8, 2020 Sent you a PM, it isn't the newest but newer than you're on. Let us know if it works.
