Bean's Shadow
I have a newer Asus AC2900 router and Im thinking about getting an R2 to connect inline with the Asus router. I was thinking that I would use the Asus router for Wifi only and the R2 for wired devices such as my consoles. My questions are, will this work and will I still be able to use the R2 software features such as the Geo filter? Thanks for the time and assistance. I have the XR700 for wifi and I put my R2 behind it for my consoles. The software or DumaOS 3.0 works fine with the consoles plugged into the R2. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 9, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 9, 2020 Yes absolutely you can do it that way and you can use all the features of the R2, I would recommend connecting it like this for the best setup: ISP/own Modem/router > R2 > Asus (AP mode) Bean's Shadow and Alex49H 1
