gkontos10 Posted August 7, 2020 Posted August 7, 2020 So when to expect DumaOS 3.0 for netgear Xr500?? Also this firmware upgrade will fix the issues of the router? Like Internet drop Can't restart the router etc?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 7, 2020 Administrators Posted August 7, 2020 It's in beta at the moment and there will be a new beta build probably next week as well, that build should fix the internet drop yes and fix some other issues found in the beta so far. I don't have a release date as it really depends how well the beta goes. What do you mean regarding can't restart the router?
gkontos10 Posted August 8, 2020 Author Posted August 8, 2020 Its a problem that i face when i restart the XR500 after that can't get any Internet.. The only solution in order to restart the XR500 and work properly its to restart the same time my provider modem and xr500.. When i issued this problem long time ago i think you told me that the current firmware has a problem with specific modems... Just for the record my provider modem its an ARRIS TG2492
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 8, 2020 Administrators Posted August 8, 2020 Oh I see, I think sometimes routers and modems don't always play nice, I couldn't be certain whether that's just the way it is or a specific issue. If that's still present for you in 3.0 then we can certainly look into that deeper.
