Nizzoball
So, I just read a story of the "top routers of 2020" and all of them listed are wifi-6, and most are mesh like the orbi. Right now I have a nighthawk xr500 and I just got in to theĀ the 3.0 beta but honestly I'm worried about the future of DumaOS in the next year. I'm already looking at upgrading my network to or of these wifi-6 capable mesh systems but obviously I'd have to give up DumaOS. Perfect path would be to upgrade to one of these device ecosystems with DumaOS but looking at the speed of development, I don't see myself using Duma in the future and that makes me sad. Nizzoball
From the deafening silence I'm assuming DumaOS is not going to keep pace with new devices I hate being at the mercy of a "normal" router firmware.
Bert
You can always run your DumaOS router and buy a Wifi-6 AP.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 19, 2020 Administrators Share Posted July 19, 2020 Us and Netgear don't tend to announce products until near launch or until ready to market something so it doesn't really mean much that we are silent. Netgear tend to come out with multiple products each year.
