Rickyrocks Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 Hi can someone please help me with setting up my wifi security cameras on the xr500 I just get orange light on port I made the Nvr statice and tried vlan but not sure how to setup also tried port forwarding but again not sure if I'm doing this right in the past its been very simple to setup on my old router but for some reason I need to take some extra step on this router. cheers

Rickyrocks Posted July 14, 2020 Author Posted July 14, 2020 Yes I think I was but since then I have put the NVR Swann wifi cameras into station mode using wifi and its ok but I get the orange light when using the NVR with ethernet cable .
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 14, 2020 Administrators Posted July 14, 2020 Your ethernet cable is probably not able to support over 100mbps, you'll need at least Cat5e to get over that.
Newfoundland Posted July 15, 2020 Posted July 15, 2020 If they are working and you still have a orange light I would suspect they only require 100 connection rate which you would need to check on the specification.
