Acebri
Hi , the last couple of days I have been having problems with netduma . I have my xbox one wired to the netduma r1 and I am having latency issues at 161ms + , when I turn off my netduma and run a couple of network tests from the xbox my latency is fine at 30ms , about 30 mins to an hour later it jumps back to 160+ ms , only way to fix it is rebooting the netduma . I have also had issues at night with the wifi from the netduma saying that wifi might not be available , only way to fix this problem is by rebooting the netduma . I have my netduma r1 connected to my bt home hub with the duma in the dmz of my bt home hub . Currently using dumaos

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 31, 2020 Administrators Share Posted March 31, 2020 Are you referring to the ping in the Internet Settings on the console? If so this is just the ping to an authentication server so should result in a degraded gaming experience, do you notice any gaming issues when this happens or is it just that that is the issue? If you try with the Geo-Filter disabled does it go back to normal? For the WiFi disable it then apply, then reboot. Then enable, apply and reboot again, does that resolve the WiFi issue? Acebri
When I turn my geo filter off my latency goes back to 35ms , when I turn my geo filter on again 10 minutes later back to 163ms latency xbox one . The last week or two i have noticed my connection on call of duty is not what it was . Found this problem and I'm not sure if this could be it . The wifi issue I will test the next time I have this problem
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 31, 2020 Administrators Share Posted March 31, 2020 Check the Geo-Filter when you do the test, there may be something blocked that appears. Ping it and then allow it, then you should have the low ping from then on.
Acebri
For some reason when I was running my detailed network statistics it wasnt picking up the UK it was picking America , even with my home in the uk with a 100 mile radius . looking at my geo filter I seen in the uk something popping up in the uk when I was running the detailed network statistics, after allowing it everything is back to normal latency . Nope scratch that back to 163 ms again

My netduma is 4 months old , been fine up until last few weeks , now I’m having issues with WiFi connecting , not everyday , 2 - 3 times a week and this latency issue on my Xbox one
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 31, 2020 Administrators Share Posted March 31, 2020 There are usually multiple servers in the same location so you may need to do it a few times to get the multiple servers but then should be resolved after that if you had luck with the first. Could you put the IDs in this form as well please so we can whitelist them in the next cloud update? https://forum.netduma.com/topic/29742-found-mislocated-servers-post-here/
