santa78 Posted February 17, 2020 Share Posted February 17, 2020 Hello ! Recently i have change my XR500 for XR700. Unfortunately I found that I could not import the config of my XR500 on my XR700. It's a shame especially that the OS is identical (with additional functionality on the XR700). I have a lot of network rules, fixed ip, port, Qos ... I have about 20 to 25 devices connected to my network, I took almost 2 hours to replicate my configuration manually It would be a good idea to allow the import of a config file from a different netduma router (at least the lower models). The only issue is that if we make a DumaOS specific backup, then the user would be required to make two seperate backups. Ideally we'd like to integrate everything into one backup, compatible across all models. Also ideally easily editable at least by tech support, so that errors could be fixed instead of just throwing away the whole backup. Also being able to choose which elements to bring back and which to leave... Anyway yes, suggestion noted. This is something we'll add, just not sure when.
