Some pppoe connections require specific settings to be enabled in a modem. Draytek has excellent tech support and setup help for isp's that require such settings. Did your connection come with an all in 1 modem router at all?

reconnect it. turn off upnp. Connect the R1 to it and give it a static ip address in the ISP router. Then add that address to your isp routers DMZ. This is the easiest way. The draytek vigor130 is 99% just plug n play but occasionally it requires a bit of tinkering on some isps.

EDIT               I forgot to tell you to factory reset the R1 or atleast set the connection type back to default.

What el Doggo said. I had the same problem when I first got the Draytek Vigor 130.

Just input ya PPPoE info and it should work great ;)

Is it just username and password that I need to put in?
