Corbula Posted February 12, 2020 Share Posted February 12, 2020 When using an isp router to handle the PPPoE for the R1, does the isp router have to do HDCP as well? I tried putting the PPPoE into the isp router and switching the cables around from the modem but it wasn't working. What setting do you have to change? Bert Posted February 12, 2020 Share Posted February 12, 2020 Set ISP router to handle PPPoE. You need to enable DHCP to your LAN as well so your R1 gets a IP. On the R1 enable DHCP for WAN. Then assign DMZ to the R1 in your ISP router. Best is to make a IP or MAC reservation if your router has the possibility.
