Buster
I was looking through my line statistics and saw my HEC errors read 4294967290 on upstream ..... Firstly, what are HEC errors 🙃, and secondly, is this normal? Thanks in advance!
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 14, 2020 Administrators Share Posted January 14, 2020 It can indicate noise on the line, do you notice if it increases when it use or just when it is rebooted? Does it show how many of the errors were corrected? That is a hell of a lot. Are you encountering any issues at all on the upload?
Buster
I think it is just from when it rebooted as it hasnt gone up since, it doesnt show how many were corrected, No issues that im aware of........... i get my speeds i pay for on upload
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 15, 2020 Administrators Share Posted January 15, 2020 If its just from a reboot then I should think that is fine, it would be more worrying if it was rapidly increasing when the connection was active. Keep an eye on your upload speed/stability and if you have any issues have another look and see if it increases in real time.
