raf1212 Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 hello for a few days i have a problem with ip tv, t like son playing console, of course, traffic priority works on ps 4, and i cut ip tv can't watch, share excess enabled, and so cuts, allocation as much as console
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 19, 2019 Administrators Posted October 19, 2019 Does IPTV require connection directly through the modem or can you use it through the XR500? If not then that may be the cause. If you disable QoS completely via the Anti-Bufferbloat menu does that resolve it?
raf1212 Posted October 19, 2019 Author Posted October 19, 2019 directly XR500, I will add that I have a speed of 46mb download, and shows that the tv only downloads 4.4 mb, and the console is still running which downloads 0.4, and the question is where the rest of the bandwidth is, I will add that the networc snapshot shows live download 7 mb to 10
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 19, 2019 Administrators Posted October 19, 2019 You're connected direct to the XR500 but does the IPTV require you to be connected to the ISP router for a proper connection? If you disable QoS we can see if that is what is interfering with it.
raf1212 Posted October 19, 2019 Author Posted October 19, 2019 no need this is a purchased ip tv server, not from an internet provider
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 19, 2019 Administrators Posted October 19, 2019 Understood, have you disabled QoS from the Anti-Bufferbloat menu? Has it had any impact?
raf1212 Posted October 19, 2019 Author Posted October 19, 2019 I turned off qos, cuts every few seconds, it's better with Qos enabled
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 19, 2019 Administrators Posted October 19, 2019 Does it give you any sort of message when it doesn't work correctly? Does anything else cut out when this happens? Is IPTV using WiFi or ethernet and is there a difference if you use one or the other?
raf1212 Posted October 19, 2019 Author Posted October 19, 2019 without a message, it only cuts, re-loads, keeps working, and cuts, I hooked up to an ethernet cable, I didn't try on wifi, I'll try tomorrow and I'll know
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 19, 2019 Administrators Posted October 19, 2019 Does it happen when no other devices are being used as well or will it happen regardless? What are your Anti-Bufferbloat settings?
