kingklown Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 If I have two xboxes hooked up to the r1 and I have one player on Xbox a join Xbox b. Should I see Xbox a in my geofilter map. Currently I don’t see it.
Administrators Netduma Alex Posted July 30, 2019 Administrators Posted July 30, 2019 It won't appear on the map because the router can't ping itself. Your two Xbox's will have the same public IP. Now if your neighbor has a different public IP (AKA not carrier-NAT) and you join them in a party, THAT would appear on the map.
kingklown Posted July 30, 2019 Author Posted July 30, 2019 One more question. If I have geofilter on and want to add my friends to whitelist. How do I know who is who? Do they only show up on the map if they are in my party
Administrators Netduma Alex Posted July 30, 2019 Administrators Posted July 30, 2019 Yes you'd need to add your friends to your whitelist one by one as they appear in your party.
kingklown Posted July 30, 2019 Author Posted July 30, 2019 Will I only see people that are in my party or fireteam on the map or will other people show up too
Administrators Netduma Alex Posted July 30, 2019 Administrators Posted July 30, 2019 I believe that other people will show up once you enter a game or a lobby. It probably depends if your friends have connected to you via P2P or via a server.
hungry110 Posted July 31, 2019 Posted July 31, 2019 Add them in Spectator mode before you boot up D2, have them all in party. You should then have 6 people on your allowed list. Switch to filtering and boot up D2. I've got this working on two Xboxes, happy to talk you through the matchmaking process if you DM me.
