CrossFitKila717
Quick question about whether CC is necessary for certain conditions........ Correct me if I’m wrong, but if I’m running PingPlotter during gameplay & I have a stable line, then is there any need to use CC? Games only use a few mb and since I’ve got Fiber 300 up/down, I can’t see why it’d be necessary. I don’t notice a difference in gameplay between full speeds & throttling. I feel in my case, the GEO is probably all I need to control my ping. Even when my wife is streaming Netflix while I’m playing, I don’t think it’s taxing my line enough to make use of CC. Thoughts? That's a very good question. With bandwidth as large as 300up/down, you'll probably be fine 99.9% of the time given your connection is not being maxed out. But one thing to keep in mind is that the internet is designed to send/receive data as much as possible. So if someone does something intensive, even if quick, it might fill up your bandwidth, which causes a lag spike. So if I were in your shoes, I'd set it to something really high like 98% just to give you that protection
