Sometimes you need to disable the power to the modem and reboot it and connect the R1 in order for it to allow that MAC of the R1 on the network. You cant just swap out routers freely unfortunately. Also what firmware are you using?
bbursley
If you dont use PPPoE then you shouldnt have that part on. Usually PPPoE is like telecommunications related connections and require a user and password. otherwise that should be off. WAN ip should not be set to static, you would it to configure itself automatically. Then there is this part. As you can see everything is disabled as to let the router configure itself, and MTU is auto.
bbursley
If youre on DumaOS it should be a very similar idea. Just remember to let it autoconfig as much as you can. Unless your ISP requires otherwise.
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted April 2, 2019 Netduma Staff Share Posted April 2, 2019 20 hours ago, Jon Marlewski said: I recently purchased the R1 and I am connected to the Netduma but cannot get internet through WiFi or hardwired? any help would be greatly appreciated. Hi Jon - the advice above is spot on. If you follow those steps then connect to a PC (wired), do you see the Netduma network? If you connect to it, what happens? Can you access DumaOS, and do you see your connected devices in the Device Manager?
