Geo-filter ps4

when i connect my ps4 to online my geo filter always shows this. so am i connecting to US server somehow? and there is that allow and block icon but i cant press block

Hi, welcome to the forum! That will be an authentication / NAT / chat server. It's got a circle around it, which means it's whitelisted. It will be essential for the game to run properly, which is why it's whitelisted.

Which game are you playing? Are you able to get local games using Strict Mode?

but im wondering why it is in US? so there are no servers for that in EU? im playing fifa, and yes im able to get games

I read this as it appears before you load up a game, just when you load up the console/connect to PSN correct? Either their HQ is there or it's mis-located on the map. Either way it doesn't matter as it has no bearing on what your game connection will be like.

And why there are some random ips popping in the map while playing?

They're most likely players in your game that you've blocked but are connected to the same server as you that's within your radius.

There is no p2p mode in that game. i havent blocked any player :o

Hi Charles, welcome to the forum! He means blocked with the Geo-Filter radius - as in, it's outside the radius and therefore blocked  and despite there being no P2P mode, players connected to your server will still sometimes show up on the Geo-Filter. I hope this makes sense!
