DAKOTADOCKALL Posted January 8, 2019 Posted January 8, 2019 When i go to change my dns on the netduna r1 i dont see dns in LAN like from what i see mods suggest in other topics i only see WAN. When i do change in the WAN nothing changes on my ps4 or pc am i doing it wrong or somthing is it ipv6 thing or something im using ipv4.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 8, 2019 Administrators Posted January 8, 2019 You just need to put it in WAN, that is fine. Can you post a screenshot please? Your PS4 will report the router as DNS because thats where the PS4 gets it's information from, then the router will use the DNS you've set in WAN Settings. Also just to note DNS will not improve your gaming experience, it's one of those big network myths.
