Raven pV
With DPP ticked while gaming should I also change my algorithm to Preemptive as well as changing my bandwidth speeds from 250 down 10 up to 50 down 10 up as that is the dramatic drop it does? pollutionblues
DPP is only for PC gaming only. The Preemptive algorithm should only be used for speeds <60Mbps.

I'm not sure how useful it actually is with the R1, but in almost all cases you'll want that disabled. I believe it's mostly used for the Host Analysis feature (which isn't really useful in most games, and won't be featured in DumaOS). Seeing as it makes such a drastic difference to speeds I'd say the benefit of disabling it outweighs any positives. I hope this helps!
