indy56
Since a nice chap set up my Netduma i have tried getting to know the settings etr, still a bit to go yet, anyhow since the set up i am finding, which never occurred before my Netduma that if i spend a little time on you tube just browsing song music videos my pc after about 15 to 20 minutes will shut down, i am then forced to shut down my pc before it will become usable again, anyone from your techs have an idea what might be causing this, cheers in advance. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 19, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 19, 2015 Sorry, I don't quite understand your PC shuts down after 15-20 mins of accessing that media as in it completely turns off?
indy56
Sorry, i meant you tube is unplayable but my pc gets restricted, cannot access online, (internet access) at which point i turn the pc off, which i did again today, returned a few hours later and thing was back to normal, however i am staying off you tube for a bit till i can find out what is causing it to do this,
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted June 19, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted June 19, 2015 Is your PC connected with an automatic or static IP?
indy56
Static IP
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted June 19, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted June 19, 2015 Static IP Can you try with an automatic IP instead. If you need a static IP set it from the Netduma, not the device. This should fix your problem I think
indy56
Ok thanks i will try and look into it, my static ip address was set up when i had the port forward done by Config a while back, if you say it can be done with netduma then hopefully its something my not very techy head can get round, lol cheers,
