Funkybadger Posted May 10, 2018 Share Posted May 10, 2018 Hello I’ve got the network set up in this order modem,R1 and then my Tp link router then from there my Xbox is connected via Ethernet to the tp link which everything is working perfect but my question is am I still getting the full benefits of the r1 like this for example hyper traffic congestion control Edit: forgot to add R1 has WiFi turned off as am using the tp link for WiFi Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted May 10, 2018 Netduma Staff Share Posted May 10, 2018 You should be getting the full benefits of the Netduma yes - since all your devices are connected downstream (in other words, your setup is Modem > Netduma > All Devices) you have the correct setup to be able to use Congestion Control. RL317 Posted May 10, 2018 Share Posted May 10, 2018 Yeah that's the right order to have everything in if you want to use another device for WiFi or just getting more range throughout the house.
