iAmMoDBoX
Anyone have any input on the best AC router with the best range? I had the comcast DPC3941T and the wifi on it was amazing but the modem sucked. I'm spoiled now so I want to upgrade to an AC router. That one had 6 internal antennas so I'm assuming something comparable to it would suffice.
PharmDawgg
Are you asking for strictly router and nothing else?

PharmDawgg
I'm an Asus fan boy so anything within your price range is pretty good in my opinion.

I have an Asus RT-N56U right now and the wifi is just okay. Once you leave the room it's in the 5ghz performance sucks. I was looking at the RT-AC68U or the TP Link Archer C7
PharmDawgg
RT-AC68U ($$) > RT-AC87U ($$$) > RT-AC3200($$$$) If you are just going to use it as a access point I would go with the lower priced option.
abc123
I agree with Buck Nasssty, the Asus router is the clear winner right now. The nighthawk from netgear is nice The WRT-1900AC is awesome if they would release a wifi driver that didn't crash on Wireless AC....
iAmMoDBoX
The comcast modem I had was a cisco so I'm curious to know if they have a similar router to that one just not built in. The router part of it was awesome, but the modem was terrible.
