You would get good speeds from it NFX as you are close to your cabinet.

 

A G.fast pod will be connected to the cab which will enable it to use much higher frequencies allowing wider bands.

 

Just like when ADSL changed to ADSL2 they upped the frequencies.

 

You have to be close to the cabinet as the frequencies get lost over long lengths of copper, vectoring will go somewhat to prevent cross talk.

Nice thanks Zen you the man when it comes to all this technology i think if we see anything from this G.Fast won't be until 2020 but it will be worth the wait. I know there planning something 30mins away from me nothing yet near me yet.

I’d be happy with getting FTTC, I’m still on 8Mbps ADSL just now and with myself, my wife and our 2 sons all being gamers it makes downloading any games or updates a long process. Thank god for the Duma, it’s a godsend for us.
