Was wondering why I can't use my netduma as my primary and only router after my modem? At the minute I use my netgear r7000 modem/router with my r1 wired to that then my ps4 wired to r1.Ihave a separate modem which I would like to use then my r1 but it won't work...why??

Try the above, you may also require PPPoE authentication if you previously had a router between the R1 & modem. Its a username/password that you'd need to put into Settings > WAN.

You need to use PPPoE on the Duma to use the Openreach modem.

If you have a BT username & password use that otherwise use:

Username: [email protected]

Password: BT

To be honest I wouldn’t use dslreports mate, it’s really inconsistent. Download PingPlotter, ping twitter.com and set the interval to 2.5 seconds that will give you a far better indication of what is happening with your line.

Bufferbloat only occurs when your connection gets saturated, if you're using the R1congestion control properly then that won't happen. If you want more in depth stats then suggest the above instead.
