LAN cable disconnected

Recommended Posts

I'm having problems with my netduma, my ps4 keeps disconnecting me from my games saying Lan cable disconnected.

I've rebooted my netduma and also my bt infinity router numerous times but it still keeps happening.

I've tried just using my bt router and the problem stops happening, so i know its my netduma.

I've had the same setup for about 2 years with no problems, but now i'm having problems.

Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated thanks.

Try it in a different port, could be the port on it's way out

Yeh I'd also recommend trying another port; potentially another wire as well though that's far less likely since the modem connection is fine.

I also recently started to have this happen after 12 months of perfect operation....

Assuming its my PS4 LAN port due to the fact if I kick my desk it happens lol

Haha, yes that sounds about right. Stick some electrical tape on it :)

I'd also recommend trying the same Ethernet cable in another console from the same Netduma port. Should rule out the cable and the Netduma as the culprit.

Switched the port of my netduma to my ps4 and the problem seems to be solved, THANKs!!! :D

Good stuff! I'm glad the problem was simple, let us know if you've got any more issues in another support thread. I'll now lock this thread :)
