Netduma not working

Recommended Posts

Maybe I'm just missing an upgrade or something but....

I've had it working before as I purchased the early adopter version or whatever its called...

Anyway, for quite a while I haven't even bothered having it set up MAINLY because of COD: AWful....but that's besides the point.

I'm here because my NETDUMA is simply not working (it turns on, lol) but other than that it's useless.

I can connect to it both wired and wireless but it has "No Internet Access", my xbox one can't resolve the DNS blabla and my pc just has no internet access.

I've factory reset both the NETDUMA and my BT-Home Hub 5 to no avail. I have followed the instructions precisely in order and all of that stuff for installation/setup.

I'd like help...please :D

So you have Hard Reset your Hub and Factory Reset your Duma and Upgraded to the newest Firmware ?

Hi Dan,

Please make sure that port 1 of the Netduma is connected to the other ports on the HH5. Then access the netduma by going to http://192.168.88.1once there click "Device Manager". At the top of the page what do you see next to WAN IP?

What IP or the blue box? I've followed the instructions posted by Dirty Dog, just testing some things now.

Connection wired.

Should this say Netduma or my HH5 SSID?

yeah when you go to http://192.168.88.1do you see the netduma dashboard?

yeah, on wired. My computer on wireless cannot connect to it but I believe that its the wireless usb that I'm using which is the problem for that. My xbox can connect fine.

[Edit: My computer can connect to my HH5 with the wireless adapter but not the Netduma]

More info on setting up the HH5, can be found here, Dan.

Also, it's recommended you turn off wireless on the HH, and use the netduma wireless.  That way you get the full benefit of all the netduma's features, Congestion Control etc.

What browser are you using?  If it's Internet Explorer, some users have reported issues with it.  Chrome or firefox is recommended :)

Also, just to check, your not using Static IP or anything on the Wireless as that would cause issues when connecting to the internet?

My xbox one can connect to it via wireless, just not the USB adapter that I use for my pc...I honestly think it's just the adapter and not a problem with the Netduma.

Oh right, ok. What I meant was are you connecting from the Wifi on the USB Adapter with a static IP?

It doesn't seem like its even connceted Dan. Have you tried to scan for wifi networks & connect to "Netduma R1"?

I can see it in the list but simply cannot connect to it.

It's just my wireless adapter for the pc that has problems, every other devices works fine on wireless.

Sorry for delay Dan, I don't have Internet at home atm so can only access this from our office.

Are you sure you have the right wifi password? You say other devices are connecting via wifi fine?
