Geo-filter

Hi peeps, i had been getting really good games of late, hit detection on point, time to react etc, then all of a sudden game quality would drop dramaticly, i checked my gui and when i look at geo filter page i am on servers outside of my radius, not sure whats happening, ive done the usual strict mode ticked, filter around uk and 0 ping assist.

 

Ive tried factory reset, cloud update etc, i dont understand why, has this happened to anyone else? any input will be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what game you are playing but have you tried turning off the geo filter, turning on the console, starting the game and going to multiplayer. Then turn on the geo filter and search for a game.

the dreaded infinite warfare lol......i have and i connect to the uk server and game runs fine again, but then later on the connection is terrible again, check the geofilter and im on the german/italian/belgium servers, ive just tried restarting my ps4, see if its resolved, thanks for your suggestions Bagsta and wish me luck lol

If you have strict mode on & ping assist 0 then you won't get games outside your radius unless the Geo-filter is disabled.

 

Can you include a screenshot of the entire Host Filtering page when this occurs please.

Also remember that when you change a setting it can take up to 2 minutes to take effect. (anti cheat)

I can confirm that if the geofilter is disabled till iw is loaded then i dont get hosts outside the radius, it must be an iw thing as i have never had this problem with blops 3 or fifa, thanks for your help Bagsta and Frazer, the things we do for gaming on cod lol.
