markbrooklyn
Hi Guys, I recently got the Verizon Fios 1 gigabit plan, and I've noticed I'm only hitting about 500 down and 500 up with the Netduma. I've tried it with Verizons router, and I'm hitting over 900 easy on both download and upload. When i use the Netduma it's only hitting 500 on both. Is this a hardware issue where it can't support 1 gigabit right now? Please advise. Thanks.

Although you should be able to hit about 800 without an issue Go into misc settings and make sure you have turbo and super turbo mode checked
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 24, 2017 Administrators Share Posted July 24, 2017 As above, you won't completely reach your top speeds but you should be able to get a little closer. Double check all the settings here: Reactive Algorithm 100% anti-flood Share excess enabled Reset device prioritisation & apply Disable IPv6 in WAN, LAN & misc Disable deep packet in misc Enable turbo mode Enable super turbo mode Ensure the ethernet cables you're using connecting the R1 to hub & R1 to PC are Cat5e+/can handle your speeds. Do a wired speed test from a PC

Do a wired speed test from a PC Hi Fraser, Thanks. I actually did all of the above, and I'm still only hitting 500. I do have the Netduma in the Verizon routers DMZ. Would that be the issue? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 25, 2017 Administrators Share Posted July 25, 2017 Hi Fraser, Thanks. I actually did all of the above, and I'm still only hitting 500. I do have the Netduma in the Verizon routers DMZ. Would that be the issue? I don't think that would cause it but if possible put the Verizon in modem mode and try again please.
