David824
Just wondering...I did everything in the thread for the best setup for open nat and on all my games I am open...of course except for blops3..I'm in upnp and I did the turn off geo filter with the ps4 off and boot it back up and everything all the other stuff it said to do but I'm still moderate. So I went to port forward and only put in 3074 and I'm open now and everything works awesome. So I'm in upnp with one port forwarded, and on the threads I'm seeing either port forward OR upnp not both....but as for now..I'm both with only the one port. So after reading all this my question is ...why cant it be both and not one or the other? and does it hurt my speeds or game play having it both?...or since I'm getting good hit markers and gameplay...is it ok to have upnp with one port forward? Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted July 13, 2017 Netduma Staff Share Posted July 13, 2017 In your case you should be fine to use both - it's really about what gives you the best results. We recommend using one or the other because conflicts can occur if both are on at the same time, which lead to more NAT issues and a bug which slows down the UI. If you aren't encountering any issues however, I'd recommend just leaving it as it is
David824
Ok great!...I tried it because I noticed under upnp it would only show my using port 9308 and I never saw 3074 show up even logged in on blops...Ill keep it like it is and if anything changes I guess I'll have to just go to port forwarding. Thanks a lot Jack
