Ptingler81
I bought the Netduma for gaming on PS4. Not sure why killcam shows half second to second lag on COD. Ive seen YT vids of others playing with extremely good hit detection, Ive setup mine CC 70-70, host filter mostly east coast. Seem to get servers in ATL or NY. My ISP states line is good and it should be, house is 2 yrs old. So does anyone else have Comcast problem? Are you having same problem like I do? Feeling helpless. iAmMoDBoX
My ISP states line is good That's where you went wrong. Believing Comcast lol Go here and run a test for as long as possible... https://www.dslreports.com/smokeping Or a more reliable way, but you'll need a PC on the entire time is to use https://www.pingplotter.com/downloadand ping comcast.com Also, what modem do you have? MartyMar
The problem for me with comcast was their modem. Most of their modems are on the list of trash. Modems are a huge deal when it comes to the duma. Try the tp link tc 7610.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 21, 2017 Administrators Share Posted June 21, 2017 Hey, welcome to the forum! I wouldn't worry about the kill cam, it is not an accurate representation. What is the average ping you're getting as shown by the Geo-filter? Would also do the test MoD has suggested. You could provide us with the screenshots asked for here and we can help optimise as much as possible: http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000022425-lag-support-instructions-to-post-on-the-forum-
Ptingler81
Thanks for the replies the modem I have is a surfboard Motorola I think it's a 6141 I hate Comcast but unfortunately that's the only service provider I have in my area the last time I called them for service to dude literally stood in my living room and left never checked the wire or anything also I don't have a PC I have a laptop but the laptop doesn't have an ethernet port It's Just Wireless I guess it's one of these new sony's. I got it for free so I'm not complaining but so I don't know exactly how accurate pink water would be or how accurate any of my testing would be on the laptop so as it stands I'm using the internet on my PS4 for net Duma for Speed Test Etc

iAmMoDBoX
So my modem is the problem you think? Part of the problem. I had the same one. It basically ignores any kind of congestion control settings you use on the Netduma. If you go into misc settings and turn on super turbo mode by checking the box for turbo mode and super turbo mode, then reboot in misc settings, does your internet completely stop working? The other part is more than likely a bad line. But you need to run that test so we have some idea of what's going on since you can't run pingplotter on a wired computer. Ptingler81
So in looking at my modem (Arris Motorola SB6141) the configuration says IPV6 only. How does this effect things?
iAmMoDBoX
So in pooking at my modem (Arris Motorola SB6141) the configuration says IPV6 only. How does this effect things? It doesn't effect anything. Just configuration nonsense that has little to do with your connection. If you had IPv6 only you wouldn't be able to connect to this site or almost any other site lol

That's not too bad. I would try a wireless test when you're right next to the router and see what your speeds/base ping is at. It sounds like MoD has given you some good advice as well.
