banjo22
Hi all, This has three times now and is seriously tempting me not to use the thing anymore. I am quite maticuous with my LAN and want all devices connected to have a reserved IP. For some reason over time my Netduma gets itself in a paddy when I reserve an IP it doesn't like. I have to assign myself a static IP on my hard wired laptop to get back on the thing and it kicks all wireless devices off. Any ideas why this happens? I have to factory reset it usually as I really can't be bothered going through each IP to see what it doesn't like nor do I have the tools of checking why it's doing this. I have around 40/50 networked devices in my home. You'd think I could remove the last reserved IP device but this doesn't seem to fix things. Thanks
banjo22
I think I've sorted it. Removed a load of reserved IPs in the last few days and weeks. Obviously I want them to be reserved again so need a fix/solution why this is happening?

The R1 does not like reserving alot of devices. Maybe it's a bug. Causes the system to become unstable over time. I ended up just reserving mandatory devices. I think if you do not reserve more than 50% of your attached devices you should be fine but I can't guarantee this.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 18, 2017 Administrators Share Posted June 18, 2017 I haven't heard of this issue before but make sure that all reserved IPs are within the DHCP range set. Also try extending the DHCP lease time to see if that helps.
