Failed to communicate with router ? VPN

Hi guys, I'm trying to setup a vpn for my xbox one, I choose my desired server then for username the netduma r1 pops up so i click that and it does the password for me. I don't actually know the password but i'm assuming its correct as it autofilled the slot. I click apply and eventually it tells me that it failed to communicate with router.

 

Any idea what this noobie is doing wrong?

are you actually paying for a vpn service and if so which 1?

For VPN you currently need to use it with a config file. Also as above, are you paying for a VPN service? It sounds like you might not be if you don't know what the password is.
