Terry Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 If you look at the devices that are on your Network Monitor Page. You will see how your online devices goes from one extreme to another on the map. Is there away to balance that where it stays around the same kbit. In the orange is my game console. Look how it bounces around from 52.1 kbit down to 37.2kbit in a matter of seconds.

Well there's two reasons this could be happening: Your bandwidth speeds are fluctuating The servers bandwidth speeds are fluctuating You would have to look into which one it is. But to be honest, it isn't going to make a difference to your gaming. As long as you have enough bandwidth going to the console, then it doesn't matter how much it fluctuates. Use the ping graph to see how good your connection is - if your ping is stable then everything is working
Administrators Netduma Iain Posted May 15, 2015 Administrators Posted May 15, 2015 Saw tooth pattern is how the Internet is designed because devices are probing for bandwidth the backing off, this pattern repeats.
Terry Posted May 15, 2015 Author Posted May 15, 2015 Mine is the mixture of both graphs on the upload. It doesn't have the same repeat pattern. My ping is fine but my character skips in the game instead of a steady run. It looks like its jumping from place to place instead of a run and my hit detection is off.
