Lost packet problem in netduma

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm an image with the test netduma test.

Before I had no packets lost and now I get some strange packets lost.

If I do a test in ping.es I do not have packets lost, but in the netduma test I have them.

Any solution Thank you.

Then it can be problem of google servers ?????

Netduma always does the test has google servers or could you change the dns of the netduma for those of my isp and try? Or that can not be.

I find it strange the loss of packets, before I always had 0% of packet loss and now I have this problem, although I use pingtest and tell me that I have 0% packet loss netduma gives me packet loss.

Yes it can be the Google servers problem.

The Netduma always tests the Google servers in Internet Diagnostics, we'll add more options/allow you to pick your own in DumaOS.

If another test tells you that you have 0% packet loss then I would trust that.

Thank you for your attention so fast,

When I can I will try to change the eternet cable that goes from the router isp to netduma and test the netduma test to see if it solves the problem, if it is not solved I will trust that pintest tells me that I have 0% packets lost, Which I think is the problem is the google servers.

When I carry out the tests of the cable eternet I inform you of the results.

Hello, browsing the net I found this regarding google servers.

40% packages lost to 8.8.8.8

After consulting with Google (source in other complaints) they indicate that they are restricting the traffic ICMP (ping)

I was trying to change the eternet cables and I followed the problem.

I do not understand pk google does that with its servers, apparently it is happening in the east of Spain with the movistar isp, the reason one could not know?

Thanks for letting us know, we'll keep that in mind for any Spanish users who have packet loss. Who knows what Google gets up to, but as Fraser said, if you have a test which reports 0% packet loss then it's very likely that your router is perfectly fine and the server is at fault. Let us know if you've got any other issues :)

I leave you a link where a technician from movistar explains the problem that exists today with the servers google, comes in Spanish but you can translate.

http://comunidad.movistar.es/t5/Soporte-Técnico-de-Fibra-Óptica/Pérdida-de-paquetes-haciendo-ping-a-la-8-8-8-8/td-p/3026889

Que Is ICMP?

Interesting, thanks for the link :D let's hope Google sorts it out soon. If you've got any other issues feel free to open up a new thread.
