Enzo
Hello. I'm planning to setup my netduma tonight. I was planning to go modem > nighthawk > netduma. With my PS4 and PC connected to the netduma and everything else connected to my nighthawk including wifi devices. Is it as simple as plug and play or will I need to put the nighthawk into bridge mode or any other steps I've missed?
ziocomposite
Hey Enzo, Personally would run it like this: Modem>Netduma>Nighthawk reason being you'd get all the benefits of the Duma, Congestion control/hyperlane & etc. while maintaining the great wi-fi strength/speed of the Nighthawk. I have an Asus 1900 AC router and turned off the DCHP on it and made sure to have it's LAN IP to 192.168.88.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 1, 2017 Administrators Share Posted January 1, 2017 I would follow zio's advice so you get to make use of all the R1's features. You could put the Nighthawk into AP mode as you're using it for WiFi. Hello my setup is a huawei HG8247Q its a all-in-one (router+ont) Vodafone Fiber 100D/100U.
