Jman Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 So in my drunken stuper last night I turned off my wifi within the settings of the duma. So now I can't access the interface to turn it back on. I've tried connecting my computer to the duma but that isn't working either. Any help would be much appreciated!
Zennon Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 I am assuming you mean via Ethernet to your PC? Check the cables are clicked into the ports correctly, try another cable, reboot the duma.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 30, 2016 Administrators Posted December 30, 2016 Otherwise try connecting by following this guide: http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000022375-i-unticked-preserve-settings-when-upgrading-can-t-access-my-router-help
Jman Posted December 30, 2016 Author Posted December 30, 2016 Yes, I've connected to port 2 via eother net cable with modem u plugged from duma. When I type in 192.168.88.1 one I'd says it's unreachable. So I can't access the interface.
Zennon Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Follow the guide Fraser has posted in his above post, that should hopefully get you back up.
Jman Posted December 30, 2016 Author Posted December 30, 2016 I did that exactly. But it wont let me even get to the interface page. I have internet with other devices connected to the Duma. Which is weird. Just not wifi and I can't reach the interface page from my computer plugged in to port 2 of duma. Not sure what I did lastnight but something is wrong
Jman Posted December 30, 2016 Author Posted December 30, 2016 I'm worried I may have blocked my computer ip address or something when I was in the interface lastnight, before I turned off the wifi. I'm not sure.
Jman Posted December 31, 2016 Author Posted December 31, 2016 Well I was able to only access the interface when I had the modem plugged into port 1 of duma then cable from port 2 of duma to my computer. I was unplugging modem from duma trying to isolate it but that never worked. Weird but it worked!
Zennon Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Yes modem to port one on the duma then port 2 to your PC is the correct set up. I will close the thread as it has been resolved
