RAF
Hi I've got the same problem as other users had. The wifi on Duma keeps dropping out all the time and nothing seems to solve it. Can anyone tell me if a fix has been found? Thanks
RAF
I have followed the instructions on how to resolve this problem given by the support team but it still doing the same thing it works for a while then it starts dropping out. It's not an issue with my isp either it's Duma itself. Is it possible to get a replacement?
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted December 29, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted December 29, 2016 Hey, welcome to the forum! So to clarify, you've tried connecting devices to your modem to find out whether it still happens with that, and you've tried resetting the Netduma? It might be worth doing a 1 on 1 with you to get to the root of the problem.
RAF
Hi jack Yes I've tried that. Ive reset my Duma twice disabled wifi workaround and all that. Each time i reset it didnt make a difference. The only thing solving it is rebooting every time it happens and that seems to help it but not for too long.last night I had to reboot 4 times and since then Duma has been ok so far. If it happens again I'll let you know. Thanks for replying.
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted December 29, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted December 29, 2016 Try this guide out: http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000022405-why-does-the-netduma-wifi-keep-dropping-out- There's a few things in there you could try. Also, how do you have your Modem set up? Did it require PPPoE, and is it in bridge mode or anything like that?
RAF
Thanks Jack. It seems that whatever I have done to Duma it helped. Didn't have a single drop out today. Possibly that whatever reason it was got solved.ill keep an eye on it and if it happens again I'll let you know. Thanks for your help
