VPN Problems

Hi, 

 

I cannot get VPN to work. I have entered the configuration and authentication details provided by the vpn provider (OVPN.se) and checked enabled.

After Apply the log is showing this ->

Now i´m unable to disable vpn to try with another configuration. When i clear the Enable checkbox and press apply i get this response -> 

 

Failed to communicate with router.

 

i can provide the configuration i use if requested.

Did you get the configuration from the website? I would remove one of the pool lines and see if that works.

Yeah ok, but i´m unable to change the configuration or disable vpn. i get a error when pushing the apply button. (Failed To Communicate With Router)

Only way to be able to get rid of the vps settings was to make a hard reset of the router. But now i´m hestitant to try a new config if the same issue reappears because the router is placed in the attic and not easy to reach.

You can do a factory reset from settings > miscellaneous - would always recommend that over the button.

Well, tried to remove one pool and now i´m back to the beginning. Cannot reboot the router, cannot disable the vpn, cannot do a soft factory reset. If i ever again need to reboot the router i have to hard reset it.

Chrome then i tried Edge.

You can't reboot or factory reset? What happens when you try to do it?

Nothing, hangs. I think some settings were lost when doing factory reset but not complete and unable to reboot after.

Hard reset using the button at the back of the router. Then try the process again. Hopefully you should also now be able to reboot/reset from misc settings. Please note WiFi password will be "netdumar1" when reset.
